Triangular Wall Toppings
About This Service
Triangular Wall Toppings Done Right
Our three-step process means every triangular wall topping is surveyed, profiled and installed to match the wall line. First we carry out a site measurement and material match, then select or cut suitable triangular units in our Holmfirth yard. Finally the units are bedded, pointed and dressed so the coping sheds water and lasts for decades under owner Max Berry's supervision.

Our Process
How It Works
Site survey and measure
We inspect the wall, measure coping runs and assess bond and drainage so the triangular profile suits the existing masonry.
Material selection
Choose between quarried Yorkshire stone or reclaimed units from our changing stock, matched for colour, grain and weathering.
Cutting, bedding and pointing
Each unit is cut or selected, accurately bedded with lime or cement mortar as appropriate, then pointed and dressed for a watertight finish.
Benefits
Why Choose us for Triangular Wall Toppings?
Heritage sympathetic finish
Traditional angled profile complements period walls and listed properties while matching reclaimed textures for authentic restoration.
Long-lasting protection
Well-bedded triangular copings divert rain, reduce frost damage to the wall head and lengthen the life of the masonry below.
Owner-led, straightforward service
Direct communication with Max Berry, nationwide buying and collection of reclaimed stone, and flexible scheduling keep the project simple.
What triangular wall toppings do
Triangular toppings create an angled coping line that sheds water away from the wall face. They are particularly effective on garden boundaries, estate walls and traditional stone pargets where an angled profile adds a neat shadow line and improves weather resistance.
Material options and reclaimed stock
MB Stones Ltd works from Holmfirth to supply quarried Yorkshire stone and regularly changing reclaimed pieces. If you have salvage from a demolition or garden clearance we buy and collect nationally. For site enquiries call 07825394436 or email max@mbstones.co.uk for a measured survey and matching advice.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Triangular copings are historically appropriate for many 18th and 19th century boundary walls. We match the stone type, tooling and pointing style so the new toppings sit naturally with the existing masonry.
